Using the website logifin.eu (hereafter "Logifin", "we", "the Site") means you accept these Terms of Use in full and without reservation. If you disagree with any term, please do not use the Site.

1. Identity and purpose

Logifin is an independent educational and informational platform for personal finance. It provides articles, guides, analyses, interactive tools, an informational catalogue of financial instruments and digital products, with the sole purpose of the reader's financial education and awareness.

The Site is operated by LOGIFIN E.E. (VAT number 802882455, General Commercial Registry (GEMI) 184559201000), with registered offices at 53 Kyknon Street, 111 46 Galatsi, Greece, contactable at info@logifin.eu.

2. We do NOT provide investment advice

This is the most important term in this document and should be read carefully.

Logifin is NOT an investment firm, NOT a credit institution, NOT an insurance or investment intermediary and is NOT supervised by the Hellenic Capital Market Commission, the Bank of Greece or any other supervisory authority.

We hold no licence to provide investment services and we do not provide investment advice within the meaning of Directive 2014/65/EU (MiFID II) and Greek Law 4514/2018, as in force.

Nothing on the Site constitutes or may be construed as:

a personal investment recommendation or an inducement to buy, hold or sell any financial instrument;
investment research or financial analysis within the meaning of applicable legislation;
tax, accounting, legal or insurance advice;
an offer, invitation or public offering to acquire securities;
an assessment of the suitability or appropriateness of a product for your own profile.

The content addresses the general public and is by definition generic. We neither know nor assess your objectives, time horizon, financial situation, knowledge, experience or risk tolerance.

Every investment decision is taken entirely at your own responsibility. Before any decision, consult a licensed investment adviser, a tax professional or another suitable expert. Study the official documents of the product concerned, in particular the Key Information Document (KID) and the prospectus.

3. Investment risks

Investing carries risk, including the loss of part or all of the capital invested.

Past performance does not guarantee, predict or reliably indicate future returns.
The value of investments can fall as well as rise. You may not get back the amount you invested.
Markets may move against any estimate, historical pattern or expectation.
Further factors such as currency risk, liquidity risk, credit risk, interest rate risk, tax changes and transaction costs all affect the final outcome.

4. Interactive tools and calculators

The tools on the Site, notably the DCA Calculator, the Investment Calculator, the Budget Tracker, the Portfolio Tracker and My Plan, are educational simulations.

Their results:

are hypothetical and constitute no forecast, guarantee or promise of performance;
rest on mathematical assumptions and simplifications, such as a constant hypothetical return and a fixed compounding frequency, which do not occur in real markets;
depend entirely on the data you enter yourself. Incorrect or incomplete entries produce incorrect results;
do not take into account taxes, charges, transaction fees, spreads, inflation where not explicitly stated or your personal circumstances;
do not amount to an investment or financial plan and are no substitute for professional advice.

Metrics calculated by the tools, such as the annualised return (XIRR) or the comparison against benchmarks, are indicative calculations on your own entries and may differ from the figures produced by your broker or custodian.

4.1 Data storage and your responsibility to safeguard it

Whatever you enter into the tools is stored exclusively on your own device, in your browser's local storage. It is never sent to us, never stored by us and is not technically accessible to us.

Consequently:

You are responsible for keeping backups. The Site provides a backup download in the trackers.
Clearing your browser data, using private browsing, switching browser or device and uninstalling the browser all result in the permanent loss of your data, with no possibility of recovery by us.
We give no warranty as to the availability, integrity or retention of data that remains on your device.
If you use the calculation link feature, the parameters of the calculation are contained within the address itself. Anyone who obtains the link can see the figures. Sharing it is at your own responsibility.

5. Catalogue of financial instruments (Logifin ETF Hub)

The Site includes an informational catalogue of exchange traded funds and related products, with details such as ISIN, benchmark index, cost (TER), replication method, size and historical performance.

The following is stated expressly:

The catalogue is purely informational and educational. The presence, order, ranking or prominence of a product is not a recommendation, an assessment or an inducement to acquire it.
The catalogue is neither complete nor representative of the whole market. It contains a selection of products and may omit alternatives that would suit you better.
The slower moving details such as TER, ISIN and fund size are updated manually at intervals and may have changed since. The date of the latest update is shown on the relevant pages. Always verify the details on the issuer's official page before any decision.
The historical performance shown comes from a third-party source, is calculated on closing prices with dividends treated as reinvested and is not an indication of future returns. It may not match the issuer's official figures.
Certain products, in particular those tracking cryptocurrencies or single commodities, are not UCITS funds but debt securities (ETP/ETC). They fall outside the protective UCITS framework, they carry issuer credit risk and, in the case of cryptocurrency products, they are subject to extremely high volatility and the risk of total loss.

6. Market data and third-party sources

Some features display market data drawn from a publicly available third-party source.

The data is provided on a delayed basis, refreshes at intervals and is not suitable for real-time decisions or for trading purposes.
We give no warranty as to its accuracy, completeness, availability or continuity. The source may cease operating without notice, in which case the relevant figures simply stop being displayed.
We accept no liability for errors, inaccuracies or interruptions originating from the source.
Names of indices, issuers and products are used for identification purposes only and belong to their respective owners. Such references imply no relationship, endorsement or partnership.

7. Content and accuracy

We make every reasonable effort to keep the content accurate, well sourced and current. Nevertheless the Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, as to accuracy, completeness, timeliness or fitness for a particular purpose.

Content reflects the position at the time of writing, may become outdated and may be amended or withdrawn without notice. We undertake no obligation to update it.

8. Affiliate links and third-party sites

Some links to third-party platforms, products or services are affiliate links. If you register or purchase through them, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you.

The presence of a link is not a recommendation, endorsement or guarantee regarding the third party, nor any confirmation that it suits you.
We neither control nor accept responsibility for the content, terms, prices, practices, solvency or services of third-party sites.
Your relationship with the third party is governed solely by its own terms. Always check the licensing and supervision of any provider before entrusting funds to it.

9. Digital products, sales and payments

9.1 Payment provider

Paid digital products and Logifin Circle subscriptions are sold through Stripe, which acts as merchant of record and payment provider for those transactions. Payment is completed in a secure environment hosted by Stripe; the Site never collects, sees or stores card details. The charge appears on your card statement as LOGIFIN.EU. Invoicing, VAT and the processing of refunds are governed by Stripe's terms. Displayed prices are final and include VAT, unless expressly stated otherwise.

All products are purely educational and are fully subject to term 2.

9.2 One-off purchases of digital products

The Excel tools are delivered electronically and immediately after payment is confirmed, through a download link. With your purchase you obtain a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence of unlimited duration, for personal and non-commercial use, together with a continuing right to download the file again through the link of your purchase. Resale, redistribution and public posting of the files are prohibited (term 11). One-off purchases do not result in enrolment in any newsletter or email list.

Functionality and compatibility. The files are Microsoft Excel workbooks (.xlsx) with no macros, no external links and no need for an internet connection or an account. They work fully in Microsoft Excel 2010 or later, on Windows and Mac, and in Microsoft 365. They also open in Google Sheets, LibreOffice Calc and Apple Numbers, where some formatting or controls may appear differently. Updates are not provided unless expressly stated on the product page.

9.3 Logifin Circle subscriptions

Two subscription tiers are available: Plan & Grow (EUR 5.90 per month or EUR 59 per year) and Stay Ahead (EUR 11.90 per month or EUR 119 per year). The prices in force are shown on the pricing page before purchase and include VAT.
The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period (monthly or annual), charging the stored payment method at the same price, unless you have been notified of a change in advance.
You may cancel at any time by writing to info@logifin.eu from the email address of your purchase. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; to prevent the next charge, the request must be submitted before the renewal date. Amounts already paid are not refunded, without prejudice to your mandatory statutory rights and to section 9.5.
A substantial part of the subscription content (notably the monthly Brief and the periodic editions) is delivered by email to the address of your purchase. Registering that address with our email delivery provider is necessary for the performance of the contract, as described in the Privacy Policy.
The Premium Excel Tools are included only in the annual Stay Ahead subscription. They are not included in the monthly Stay Ahead or in Plan & Grow.
After the subscription expires or is cancelled, the activation key stops unlocking the subscription content and the subscription emails cease. No data is deleted from your device.

9.4 Activation keys

Access to the subscription content is proven by an activation key (in the form LGF-…), which is issued after payment. No user account is required or created.
The key is personal and non-transferable. You may use it on your own personal devices; sharing it, publishing it or passing it to third parties is prohibited.
Upon activation the key is stored on your device (browser local storage and a first-party cookie named "logifin-key" with a duration of up to one year), so that the Site can display the content you are entitled to; without a valid key only a preview is shown. A backup copy of the key is kept in your subscriber profile with our email delivery provider for recovery purposes. Details are set out in the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy.
On every access check the Site verifies in real time with the payment provider that the subscription is active. We keep no subscriber database of our own.
If you lose the key, you may request recovery at info@logifin.eu from the email address of your purchase.
Misuse of a key, for example public posting or systematic use by several persons, entitles us to deactivate it and to terminate the contract, without prejudice to any other lawful right.

9.5 Right of withdrawal

One-off digital content (Excel files): delivery takes place immediately, through a download link provided right after payment. By completing the purchase you give your express consent to immediate performance of the contract and you acknowledge that once delivery begins you lose the fourteen-day right of withdrawal, in accordance with Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU and the corresponding provision of Greek Law 2251/1994.
Logifin Circle subscriptions: access to the subscription content is provided immediately after payment. You retain the right to withdraw within fourteen days of the initial purchase; where you have requested immediate commencement of the service, you may owe a proportionate amount for the period up to your notice of withdrawal.
The Premium Excel Tools included in the annual Stay Ahead subscription: these are digital content supplied separately from the subscription service. By downloading any of the files you expressly request its immediate supply and acknowledge that once the download begins you lose the right of withdrawal for that file, in accordance with Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU and the corresponding provision of Greek Law 2251/1994. Your right of withdrawal from the subscription itself is unaffected; where you withdraw after downloading, the stated price of the files you have already downloaded is deducted from the amount refunded.
Notice of withdrawal may be addressed to info@logifin.eu or to Stripe as the seller of record of the transaction, which processes any refund.
To withdraw from a subscription you may use the following model form, although its use is not mandatory: "To LOGIFIN E.E., Kyknon 53, 111 46 Galatsi, info@logifin.eu — I hereby withdraw from my subscription contract concluded on [date]. Full name, email address of the purchase, date."

9.6 Legal guarantee of conformity

As a consumer you retain the legal guarantee of conformity of the digital content and digital services with the contract under Directive (EU) 2019/770 and Greek Law 2251/1994: for one-off purchases for two years from delivery and for the subscription throughout its duration. In the event of a lack of conformity you are entitled to have it brought into conformity, to a proportionate price reduction or to termination of the contract, as provided by law.

10. Intellectual property

All content on the Site, including text, articles, guides, graphics, diagrams, logos, tools, source code, structure and data curation, is the intellectual property of LOGIFIN E.E. or its licensors and is protected by Greek Law 2121/1993 and Union legislation.

Personal, non-commercial use is permitted. Reproduction, republication, translation, modification, distribution or commercial exploitation without prior written permission is prohibited, save for brief quotation with express attribution and an active link.

11. Acceptable use

You undertake to use the Site lawfully and in good faith. The following are prohibited:

bulk automated extraction of content or data (scraping) for commercial purposes or to build a competing database;
attempts to breach, overload or disrupt its operation;
resale or redistribution of the tools and the content;
use of the content to train artificial intelligence systems without permission;
any use that breaches the law or the rights of third parties.

12. Availability

We give no warranty of uninterrupted or fault-free operation. The Site may be unavailable owing to maintenance, technical problems, the acts of third-party providers or events of force majeure. We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any feature, individually or as a whole, without notice and without compensation.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LOGIFIN E.E., its representatives and its associates accept no liability for any direct, indirect, actual, consequential or incidental loss, including investment losses, loss of profit, loss of data or loss of opportunity, arising out of or in connection with:

the use of or inability to use the Site and its tools;
decisions taken on the basis of the content, the tools or the product catalogue;
inaccuracies, errors, omissions or outdated details in the content;
third-party data, delays, interruptions or technical faults;
loss of data held on your own device;
the acts, omissions or insolvency of third-party providers such as brokers, sales platforms or hosting providers.

This term does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law, in particular for wilful misconduct or gross negligence. It does not affect the mandatory rights of consumers.

14. Personal data and cookies

The processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy, which form an integral part of these terms. The guiding principle is data minimisation: the tools work without an account and the data you enter into them is never sent to us. We keep no customer database of our own; payment details are held by the payment provider, while the email address of Logifin Circle subscribers and the backup copy of the activation key are held by our email delivery provider, as described in the Privacy Policy. A strictly necessary first-party cookie ("logifin-key") is used to operate subscriber access, as described in the Cookie Policy.

15. User eligibility

The Site is intended for adults and for residents of countries where access to such educational content is lawful. The content is not directed at persons whose nationality, residence or legal status makes access unlawful. References to products constitute no offer in any jurisdiction where such an offer is not permitted.

16. Changes to these terms

We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time. The terms in force are published on this page with the date of the latest update. Continuing to use the Site after publication constitutes acceptance of them.

17. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Greek law and applicable European Union law. The courts of Athens have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory provisions in favour of consumers, who retain the right to bring proceedings before the courts of their place of residence.

For consumer disputes you may contact an Alternative Dispute Resolution body under Directive 2013/11/EU, in particular the Greek Consumer Ombudsman (144 Alexandras Avenue, 114 71 Athens, www.synigoroskatanaloti.gr).

The invalidity or unenforceability of any term does not affect the validity of the remainder.
